2) Open prism case 3) carefully place liquid on prism without
touching the prism.

4) Close prism case.

5) adjust illumination |
6) Place the borderline on the crosshairs. (See the bottom imageon
the left . 7) Hold down the toggle switch. (Image on the right will appear.)

8) Read the top scale for the index ofrefracton. |
