2341-2343.10 Topics & Materials

EXAM 1
RESULTS

(Exam 1 will include material from the first week of class & lab through the Nuclear Reactions Reading.)

Practice Questions
These "practice" questions are not comprehensive, but representative of the types of questions that you can anticipate on Exam 1, which will be comprised of 20 multiple choice questions (4pts each), 10 True/False questions (2pts each) and ~5-6 problems of various types: matching, fill-in, and applications of mathematical calculations (~4-6 pts each). The total possible exam points will be ~130 raw points, which will be normalized to 100%.

Answers to the questions are not provided, but you are highly encouraged to bring specific questions to an office hour or on-line for any problems that you have attempted but are uncertain of your answers.

Exam questions are either from or derivatives of in-class Discussion questions, on-line (GC) Guided Questions, Webassign Homework, Worksheets, Quizzes, and related Lab Experiments.

Time should not be an issue. The entire class time will be allotted for Exam 1. One way to avoid test anxiety is to randomly select 20 M/C, 10 T/F and 6 problems from the practice questions, Discussion Guides and Webassign questions; time yourself. .
